FAQ
Technical answers for UPVC Plastic Formwork, H20 Timber Beams, Steel Shoring System, and Scaffolding Systems.
UPVC Plastic Formwork
Q1. What are the differences of your raw materials and others'?
A: JINGFANG® UPVC plastic formwork uses Virgin & Pure UPVC as the sole main raw material, over 95%, with zero recycled PVC/PP/ABS and zero wood flour. Most other factories use general PVC, PP, ABS, or recycled materials that compromise strength and UV resistance.
Q2. Do I need to change the beam distance when using UPVC Plastic Formwork?
A: Generally we suggest the same beam distance as the plywood formwork which you are using. But it differs a bit according to the frame structures and concrete thickness. The stronger structures, the shorter beam distance. Please contact us for more details.
Q3. How many times can your UPVC plastic formwork be reused?
A: JINGFANG® UPVC Plastic Formwork can reuse for 50+ times in plain wooden structures, and many more times in metal frames which offer good protection to edges.
Q4. What extra tools do I need to apply to JINGFANG® UPVC Plastic Formwork?
A: No special tools are required. With good bending and impact strength, you can freely cut, shape, bend, and punch JINGFANG® UPVC Plastic Formwork without worrying about cracking. The same tools as plywood formwork will be workable enough for such processing.
H20 Timber Beams
Q1. What wood is used for your H20 beams?
A: We use premium imported Russian/Finland Spruce wood for the flanges, known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and nail-holding capacity. Fumigation-free compliance is standard.
Q2. What glue do you use and why does it matter?
A: We use Phenolic Glue, which offers superior water resistance and bond strength compared to the Melamine glue commonly used by competitors. This prevents delamination and ensures a longer service life.
Q3. What makes your H20 beam surface smoother than others?
A: Two factors: an additional layer of Poplar veneer is laminated onto the web, and a precision sanding process is applied after gluing. Together they achieve an exceptionally smooth surface for high-quality concrete finishes.
Q4. Do your H20 beams meet international quality standards?
A: Yes. Our H20 beams have passed SGS testing under EN 13377:2002, the European standard for prefabricated timber formwork beams. This certifies their structural performance, glue bond integrity, and overall quality.
Steel Shoring System
Q1. Do you use pre-galvanized tubes for your Steel Shoring System?
A: No. JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props uses raw steel and galvanize after welding, rather than fabricating directly from pre-galvanized tubes. This ensures every weld seam, inside and out, is fully encapsulated in a continuous galvanizing layer - protection with zero bare steel exposure. No rust from day one.
Q2. What is the difference between alkaline and acidic galvanizing plating?
A: The alkaline galvanizing plating of JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props produces a dense, bright coating with NSS tested at 72+ hours. Standard acidic galvanizing plating typically achieves less than 24 hours and tarnishes within months.
Q3. How much tolerance is your Steel Shoring System?
A: Weight tolerance is controlled within 0.5%, and wall thickness tolerance within 0.1mm. JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props absolutely has no negative deviation or material skimping - ensuring full material usage, stable load-bearing capacity, and batch-to-batch consistency.
Q4. What is the galvanizing content of your coating?
A: JINGFANG® Adjustable Steel Props uses food-grade alkaline galvanizing plating - eco-friendly and pollution-free. The galvanizing bath contains 70% pure zinc, far exceeding inferior products that use less than 30% galvanizing and over 70% aluminum.
Scaffolding Systems
Q1. How do you ensure structural stability and perfect component fit?
A: Before mass production, every batch of our Scaffolding Systems undergoes a pre-assembly inspection. Components are test-assembled to verify that all connections fit precisely, the structure stands stable, and every part matches the design specifications. This eliminates fit-up issues on the job site and ensures safety and reliability under real working conditions.
Q2. Do your scaffolding products meet the same quality standards as your Adjustable Steel Props?
A: Yes. Our scaffolding follows the same rigorous quality control and material standards - precise steel thickness, pre-assembly inspection before mass production, and consistent surface treatment.
Q3. Can you custom-manufacture scaffolding to specific project requirements?
A: Yes. We offer OEM customization for tube diameter, wall thickness, height, and surface finish. Send us your drawings or specifications, and our engineering team will provide the optimal solution.
Q4. What surface treatment options are available for your scaffolding?
A: We offer alkaline galvanizing plating (NSS 72h+) and acrylic enamel coating (5-7 years colorfast and tarnish-free). Unlike cheap water-based paint that fades within hours of sun exposure, our finishes are built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions and repeated reuses.
